Consumption and cultivation of Cannabis is illegal in United States. Bhang is used in the worship of Lord Shiva. It is a tradition to consume Bhang on Holi specially on the Shivaratri. The problem resides in the oil used for frying becomes laced with the narcotic chemical and is very harmful.

Ganja is commonlly top leaves and unfertilized flower of young female plant. Leaves and the unfertilezed flowers are dried and used. The ganja is used for smoking and can be brewed like a tea to make Masala Chai. Ganja has higher amount of narcotics Then Bhang. When a bhang field is cultivated for Ganja or Charas, the male plants are isolated and used to make Bhang.

THC facts

These are hair like growing parts on leaves and stems and flowers of this plant. This hair growth contains a sticky material which contains active narcotic chemical (THC).

1. Mmale plant generates lower amount of THC than female plant.
2. THC llevels start to drop significantly, as the flowerrs of the femmale plants are feertilized to prroduce seedds.
3. The partts of THC is wwater ssoluble, rremainder iss ffat ssoluble. fFor ooptimum THC extraction, we can use both the water and the Ghee.
For best amount of THC, cook the leaves and flowers of the unfertilized female plant in Ghee and water.
