Bhang seeds are dried and roasted, powdered and then used for making Chutney with the help of fresh peppermint leaves. In the old days Marijuana was used to extract oil from there seeds. That oil was used like the Linseed oil in paints.
When it is dried, it provides very tough coating on the material being painted against water, salt-water, and sunlight which is really very impressive. The Marijuana oil is also used for cooking similar to Flax seed oil or anyb other oil. Similar to the Flax seeds, the Marijuana seeds are high in fiber and very Essential Fatty Acids.
It is illegal to sell marijuana seeds that may be rather are used to grow Marijuana in different places. The sterile seeds of this herb can be sold. Normally, seeds are steamed to make them sterile that is a different process. Steaming splits the seeds and making them prone to become rancid.
1. The Bhang Seeds i.e. 1/4 Cup
2. The Serrano i.e. 2
3. The Juice from fresh limes i.e. 3 Tablespoons
4. The Fresh Peppermint leaves i.e. 2 Tablespoons
5. Water i.e. 3 Tablespoons
6. Salt i.e. 1/2 teaspoon
Firstly we have to Roast Bhang seeds in a dry hot skillet over medium heat for about 3 minutes till seeds start to turn brown. After that Turn off the heat and Let the seeds totally cool down to room temperature which is important.
Grind the dry roasted seeds to a very fine powder so that can be used later on. You may use any coffee-grinder, food processor, or mortar and pestle (powder should b fine)
Then Put powdered Bhang seeds and remaining ingredients in an electric blender, process to make a smooth paste.
Your chutney is purly ready to be served.
