This fudge sweet is made with Bhang Besan Nuts Ghee and Sugar. It is popular during Holi. Also it is a very delicious dish to be made at home.
Ingredients
Bhang Extraction
1. 1/2 Cup Ghee is needed
2. 1/2 Cup Bhang leafs is needed
Making Halwa
1. 1 Cup Besan (Chickpea flour) is needed
2. 1/2 Cup Ghee (Clarified butter) is needed
3. 1/2 teaspoon Cardamom seeds) is needed
4. 1/4 Cup Total Seeds Nuts, Watermelon seed, Cantaloupe seeds is needed
5. 1 Cup Sugar is needed
6. 1 Cup Water is needed
7. 3/2 Cup Milk is needed
Method of preperation
Extraction of Bhang
1. First of all you need to Heat the Ghee in a pan. Add Bhang to it. Then Cook it on medium heat till the Ghee starts to get green form Bhang.
2. .Now cut off the heat and wait about 5 minutes
Making Halwa
1. Heat the water, milk and the sugar make it boil. After that Make sure sugar is dissolved completely into it. Keep it aside.
2. Now take a different pan, mix Ghee and Besan into it, to make raw roux Paste. Stir for some time in Bhang and oil.
3. Turn on the heat now. Cook it well on low heat till flour turns light brownish. Do NOT over fry the Besan which will lead to a bad taste.
4. Add a lil syrup. Let it cook till it becomes nice paste like dough for Chapatis.
5. Now Stir the remaining ingredients.
6. Turn off the heat.
7. Put it in a deep cookie pan while still it is hot. Sprinkle nuts over its surface. Press the ingredients with a spatula and then Let it cool.
