In the ancient text books like Artharvaveda, The bhang or cannabis is described as a very beneficial herb that "releases anxiety". As he is said to have discovered the transcendental properties of the mixture, one of Lord shiva's epithets was "Lord of The bhang or cannabis" .

It helps to clear our phlegm, quicken digestion, sharpen appetite, cure speak imperfection and lispering. Besides, it freshens the intellect and gives alertness to the body and gaiety to the mind.
